As a part of our complete service to clients, we offer a refurbishment service for hydraulic cylinders.  The picture shows a cylinder from a Fielding 400 tonne concrete press.  This cylinder has been fully inspected, all defects repaired, extra web stiffener plates inserted to treble the web thickness between the cylinder wall and the column bosses, seal area pre-machined and overlaid.  The whole casting has then been fully stress relieved and re-machined to original dimensions and squareness of column nut seating faces restored.
